Abstract:
Disclosed is a catalyst for exhaust gas purification wherein Rh is supported by a catalyst carrier for Rh. The catalyst for exhaust gas purification is produced by using a catalyst component A having a CO2 adsorption per unit weight of 25-60 μmol g-1 and a CO2 adsorption per unit specific surface area of 0.2-2.3 μmol m-2 g1, a catalyst component B and a binder. The catalyst for exhaust gas purification has a CO2 adsorption per unit weight of 18-60 μmol g-1 and a CO2 adsorption per unit specific surface area of 0.2-2.5μmol m-2 g1, and the ratio of the CO2 adsorption per unit weight of the catalyst to the CO2 adsorption per unit weight of the catalyst component A [namely, (CO2 adsorption of the catalyst/CO2 adsorption of the catalyst component A) Œ 100] is not less than 75%.
