Title:
CATALYST FOR MANUFACTURING LIGHT HYDROCARBON FROM SYNGAS, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAID CATALYST, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LIGHT HYDROCARBON FROM SYNGAS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/142282
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide: a catalyst which has relatively low gas product selectivity for methane, etc., and which is not susceptible to runaway and does not clog flow paths, even when productivity in a microchannel reactor is set to be high; a method for manufacturing the catalyst; and a catalyst for manufacturing light hydrocarbons from syngas using the former catalyst. This catalyst for manufacturing a light hydrocarbon from syngas is characterized by having an average particle size of at most 400μm and by containing both a catalyst that contains a metallic compound that is active in Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, the catalyst being active in an exothermic reaction for generating a hydrocarbon from a syngas, and a catalyst that is active in an endothermic reaction for decomposing the generated hydrocarbon and producing a light hydrocarbon therefrom.
