Abstract:
The present invention relates to a catalyst and a method for converting aliphatic C�2?-C�12? hydrocarbons into high-octane petrol and into aromatic hydrocarbons. The high-octane petrol and a concentrate of aliphatic hydrocarbons may be produced by bringing a raw material into contact under pressure and at a high temperature with a catalyst. This catalyst comprises a zeolite from the pentasyle group, zinc oxide, a mixture of at least two oxides of rare-earth elements, boron oxide and fluorine, wherein these components are selected in the following amount in wt.%: from 20 to 70 % of zeolite; from 1.4 to 4.0 % of zinc oxide; from 0.1 to 2.0 % of a mixture of rare-earth element oxides; from 0.1 to 3.0 % of boron oxide; and from 0.1 to 3.0 % of fluorine, the balance consisting of a binder.
