Abstract:
The present invention relates to a catalyst that has at least one peak in each of a pore diameter range of 0.45-10.0 μm and a pore diameter range of 0.040-0.45 μm in a pore distribution (-dV/d(log D) vs D) measured by the mercury intrusion method, and in which when the maximum value of -dV/d(logD) in the pore diameter range of 0.45-10.0 μm is denoted by A and the maximum value of -dV/d(logD) in the pore diameter range of 0.040-0.45 μm is denoted by B, (B/A) is 0.20-13.0 (V is the volume (unit: mL/g) of mercury injected per weight of a sample, D is the pore diameter (unit: μm), logD is the natural logarithm of D, and -dV/d(logD) represents the additive inverse of a value obtained by differentiating the cumulative pore volume by means of the logarithm of the pore diameter in a specific pore diameter range).
