Abstract:
Provided are: a catalyst for organic synthesis use, which has a high catalytic activity, can be easily separated by solid/liquid separation from a reaction system, and enables highly efficient synthesis of an organic compound; and a method for producing an organic compound using the catalyst. This catalyst for organic synthesis use comprises an anionic exchange resin that has a hydrohalic acid salt of a tertiary amino group as an ion exchange group. This method for producing an organic compound uses, as a catalyst, an anionic exchange resin that has a hydrohalic acid salt of a tertiary amino group as an ion exchange group.
