Abstract:
Disclosed are a catalyst for preparing methacrylic acid by oxidation of methacrolein and a preparation method therefor. The catalyst is a composite oxide catalyst free of polyacid structures, and has the composition as represented by the formula below: Mo12VaTebNbcDdOe, wherein, Mo, V, Te, Nb and O respectively represent a molybdenum, vanadium, tellurium, niobium and oxygen atom; D represents at least one alkali metal element; a, b, c, d and e respectively represent the molar amount of the corresponding element based on Mo 12: a ＝ 0.01-6.0; b ＝ 0.01-4.0; c ＝ 0.01-2.0; d ＝ 0.2-3.0; and e is the atomic ratio of oxygen required to satisfy the valence of all the components above.
