Title:
CATALYST FOR PRODUCTION OF MONOCYCLIC AROMATIC HYDROCARBON, AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION OF MONOCYCLIC AROMATIC HYDROCARBON
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/013272
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a catalyst for the production of a monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbon, which can be used for the production of a monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbon having 6 to 8 carbon atoms from a crude oil having a 10-vol% distillation temperature of 140˚C or higher and a final boiling point of 400˚C or lower. The catalyst comprises crystalline aluminosilicate, gallium and/or zinc, and phosphorus, wherein the ratio of silicon to aluminum (i.e., an Si/Al ratio) in crystalline aluminosilicate is 100 or less by mole, the ratio of phosphorus supported on crystalline aluminosilicate to aluminum contained in crystalline aluminosilicate (i.e., a P/Al ratio) is 0.01 to 1.0 inclusive by mole, and the content of gallium and/or zinc is 1.2 mass% or less relative to the content of crystalline aluminosilicate.
