Abstract:
Provided is a catalyst recovery method wherein a solution, which contains a reaction mixture that is obtained by performing a hydrogenation reaction in the presence of a platinum group element-containing catalyst, is brought into contact with a porous hollow fiber membrane that has a group containing an amino group or a thiol group on the surface, so that a platinum group element contained in the solution is recovered therefrom. With respect to the catalyst recovery method according to the present invention, it is preferable that the platinum group element is palladium. With respect to the catalyst recovery method according to the present invention, it is preferable that the reaction mixture contains a hydrogenated conjugated diene polymer.
