Title:
CATALYST USED IN DEHYDROGENATION OF FORMIC ACID, METHOD FOR DEHYDROGENATION OF FORMIC ACID, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING HYDROGEN
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/076156
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a catalyst which is capable of producing normal pressure or high pressure hydrogen at high efficiency, high energy efficiency, high selectivity, and high durability by dehydrogenating formic acid in a solution such as water. The catalyst is characterised by including a mononuclear complex represented by formula (1), an isomer thereof, or a salt thereof as an active ingredient. In formula (1), X is an arbitrary ligand such as a water molecule, a hydrogen atom, an alkoxide ion, a hydroxide ion, a halide ion, a carbonate ion, a trifluoromethane sulphonate ion, a sulphate ion, a nitrate ion, a formate ion, or an acetate ion, or is absent, and n is a positive integer, 0, or a negative integer.
