Abstract:
This catalyst with attached carrier is obtained by loading a catalyst on a carrier. The carrier comprises titanium oxide and the content ratio (O/Ti) of elemental titanium (Ti) and elemental oxygen (O) contained in the carrier that is represented as a mole ratio is 0.8 to 1.6, and the carrier has TiO0.5 crystal phases or TiO crystal phases. The catalyst with attached carrier is produced by: crushing titanium oxide represented by the compositional formula TiOa (in the formula, a represents a number from 0.4 to 1) in an organic solvent; then without undergoing a step for changing the same into a dry powder, loading a catalyst in an organic solvent; and baking the catalyst-loaded titanium oxide.
