Abstract:
A catheter assembly (10) of the present embodiment is provided with a reinforcing needle (26) that is inserted into a first lumen (18a) of a catheter (18) and an internal needle (44) that is inserted into a second lumen (26a) of the reinforcing needle (26). The reinforcing needle (26) has a higher stiffness than the catheter (18) and reinforces the catheter (18). The reinforcing needle (26) is fixed so as to hardly fall off compared to the inner needle (44).
