Abstract:
Provided is a catheter in which twisting of a curved shaft at the distal part of the catheter is prevented, decreases in the bending and pushability of the catheter are prevented, and the expected curve shape can be achieved. A catheter (1) comprises: a shaft (2); at least one wire (30); a coil (60); a leaf spring (40) that has a first connection part (41) of which a proximal end part is fixed to a distal end part of the coil (60); and a cover tube (50). The coil (60) has a fixed part (61) that is fixed to the shaft (2) to the proximal side of the proximal end of the cover tube (50), and in the longitudinal direction, the length of the fixed part (61) from the distal end to the proximal end of the cover tube (50) is at most 20 turns of the coil (60).
