Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cathode active material for a lithium-sulfur battery comprising polyimide and, more particularly, to a cathode active material having a composite of polyimide and carbon-based secondary particles complexed with sulfur particles, a method for manufacturing the same, and a lithium-sulfur battery comprising the same. When the complexed cathode active material comprising polyimide according to the present invention is applied to a lithium-sulfur battery, elution of polysulfide is suppressed, such that lifetime characteristics and energy efficiency are improved.
