Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cathode active material comprising at least one secondary particle containing an aggregate of primary macroparticles, a preparation method therefor, and a lithium secondary battery comprising same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the electrical conductivity of the surface of the cathode active material can be improved by coating the surface of the secondary particle with a conductive carbon material. Therefore, a nickel-based cathode active material with improved lifespan performance can be provided through the minimization of the loss of a conductive network after cycles.
