Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a cationic electrodeposition coating composition that exhibits excellent anti-corrosion properties and finishability on an edge portion and a flat portion; and a coated article that exhibits such excellent coating film performance as mentioned above. As a means for solving the problem, provided is a cationic electrodeposition coating composition which comprises an amino group-containing epoxy resin (A), a blocked polyisocyanate compound (B), a polar polymer compound (C) and particles (D), said cationic electrodeposition coating composition being characterized in that the particles (D) contain a clay mineral (D1) and/or crosslinked resin particles (D2).
