Abstract:
Provided in embodiments of the present invention are a CDN-based method, system, and device for video pushing. A current set number of CDN nodes closest in spatial distance can be searched to serve as target nodes, a list acquisition request is transmitted to each target node so as to allow, when the target acquisition request is received by the target nodes, same to return video content lists of buffered video contents; when the video content lists returned by the target nodes are received, the video content lists received are integrated to produce a hot-spot video content list; the hot-spot video content list is displayed for on-demand playback by a user. That is, by means of using the most recent video content lists buffered by the CDN nodes as the hot-spot video content list and pushing to the user, the probability of the user arbitrarily playing back on-demand an interested video content via the hot-spot video content list is increased, and the probability of the user arbitrarily playing back on-demand a cold-spot video buffered by a CDN node further away is reduced, thus significantly alleviating the pressure of CDN scheduling.
