Abstract:
The objective of this invention is to obtain a ceiling-embedded air conditioner with which a deterioration in the design properties during operation due to the wind direction vanes can be ameliorated. This ceiling-embedded air conditioner 1 is characterized by being equipped with a main body 2 installed above a ceiling and room-interior side of which opens in a shape that is square in cross section, a blower fan 5 that is installed inside the main body 2 and that blows air drawn in from a suction opening 12 of the main body 2 to a discharge opening 13 of the main body 2, a heat exchanger 6 that is installed inside the main body 2 and downstream from the blower fan 5, and that exchanges heat with the air drawn in from the suction opening 12, a decorative panel 8 covering the opening and flush with the ceiling surface, and wind direction vanes 14 installed in the discharge opening 13 and the blowing direction of which can be adjusted, said wind direction vanes 14 being arranged on the rear surface of the decorative panel 8.
