Abstract:
The invention provides a ceiling grid system including a main-runner (20) and a cross piece (24). The main runner (20) has a main-runner tee-portion (32) including at least one opening (40) having a frustoconical portion (44) and a second portion (48). The cross-tee has a cross-tee-portion and a cross-tee support shoulder. The cross-tee tee-portion (76) includes an end (84) and a projection (80) extending from the end. The cross-tee support shoulder (72) is coupled to the cross-tee tee-portion (76) and the projection (80) is insertable into the frustoconical portion (44) and slidable into the second portion (48).
