Abstract:
To deliver a satisfactory cell charging/discharging performance while reliably protecting the cell. A battery controller 107 determines ΔVlimit, which is the limit value for the difference between the CCV and the OCV of a cell module 101 which is a secondary cell, and determines the upper limit voltage and/or the lower limit voltage of the cell module 101. The allowable current for the cell module 101 is calculated on the basis of the upper limit voltage and/or the lower limit voltage and the ΔVlimit determined as above.
