This cell culture device comprises: a culture vessel for accommodating a cell suspension containing cells; a first filter part having a first filter membrane for performing a membrane filtration treatment on the cell suspension drawn from the culture vessel; a first circulation flow path for returning a component blocked by the first filter membrane to the culture vessel; a second filter part having a second filter membrane for performing a membrane filtration treatment on a component of the cell suspension having passed through the first filter membrane; a second circulation flow path for returning a component having passed through the second filter membrane to the culture vessel; and a collection flow path for collecting a component blocked by the second filter membrane. The first filter membrane has an average pore size of 20 µm or less, and the relationship 0 < B/A ≤ 0.5 is satisfied, wherein A is the average pore size of the first filter membrane and B is the average pore size of the second filter membrane. Alternatively, the average pore size of the first filter membrane is 20 µm or less, and the second filter membrane is an ultrafiltration membrane.
