Abstract:
The present invention provides a cell culture vessel/sample cell for observation with which it is possible to three-dimensionally culture cells or cell tissues and understand the three-dimensional structure of the cultured cells or cell tissues easily by multifaceted observation. The cell culture vessel/sample cell for observation of the present invention is a cell culture vessel/sample cell for observation for housing a culture gel in which cells or cell tissues are embedded, the cell culture vessel/sample cell for observation characterized by: having a frame part, at least one window part surrounded by the frame part, and at least one convex part protruding from the frame part to the inside of the cell culture vessel/sample cell for observation; and having as feature points that at least one window part is translucent, has nutrient component permeability, and is provided so as to permit multifaceted observation of the cells or cell tissues, and the convex part is placed at a location that can be observed from the window part together with the cells or cell tissues.
