Abstract:
A cell impedance spectroscopy measurement apparatus comprises: a microfluidic channel providing a space for the flow of a fluid that includes a cell, and having a channel size no greater than the diameter of the cell; a least one electrode pair having a first electrode and a second electrode, which are arranged so as to be spaced from each other within the microfluidic channel and to come in contact with the cell passing through the microfluidic channel; and an electrical signal detector for applying, to the electrode pair, electrical signals of frequencies differing from each other by location of the cell passing through the microfluidic channel, and for detecting an electrical signal from the cell.
