Abstract:
Provided is a technique whereby the appropriateness of cell culture can be accurately determined. According to the present disclosure, provided is a cell observation apparatus for observing cells seeded in a culture container, said cell observation apparatus comprising: an apparatus housing; a culture container holder which is disposed within the apparatus housing and holds the culture container for culturing cells; an imaging device which is disposed within the apparatus housing and images an image of the culture container; and a pattern part having a preset pattern which is positioned within the image field of the imaging device and disposed to face the imaging device with the culture container holder interposed therebetween (refer to Fig. 3).
