Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a method for quantitatively evaluating the activity of individual cells; and a device used therefor. This cell observation device is provided with a cell introduction part, a cell arrangement part, an observation part, and an analysis part, wherein: the cell introduction part introduces one or more cells into the cell arrangement part; the cell arrangement part arranges the introduced one or more cells; the observation part makes an observation about temporal events resulting from cell contact in the cell arrangement part; and the analysis part analyzes the temporal events resulting from the cell contact.
