Title:
CELL POPULATION INCLUDING ATTACHED CELLS DERIVED FROM FETAL APPENDAGES, PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR, AND PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/186418
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a cell population which includes attached cells derived from fetal appendages and has a low differentiation potential, a production method therefor, and a pharmaceutical composition which includes the cell population. The present invention provides a production method for a cell population which includes attached cells derived from fetal appendages, wherein the production method involves obtaining a cell population having the following cell characteristics indicated in (a) and (b): (a) the ratio of attached cells derived from fetal appendages which are positive for CD73 and CD90 in the cell population is 90% or higher; and (b) the cell population satisfies the condition that the relative expression level of the LFA-3 gene to the expression level of the SDHA gene is 1.0 or higher.
