Abstract:
Provided are a cell processing system and a cell supply method whereby a cell in a desired state can be provided at an appropriate time. A cell processing system (10) is provided with a plurality of culture units (15). Each of the culture units (15) is provided with a culture tank (21), an illumination panel (23), and other components. Chlamydomonas and a medium are accommodated in each of the culture tanks (21). Cells in the culture tanks (21) are subjected to synchronous culture in a certain light-dark cycle for each culture unit (15) by lighting and extinction of the illumination panels (23). A control part (16) causes the light-dark cycles of the illumination panels (23) to be mutually offset between culture units (15). A cell supply device (12) switches the culture tanks (21) in sequence at a time interval corresponding to the offset in the light-dark cycles and extracts Chlamydomonas together with the medium from the culture tanks (21). The Chlamydomonas extracted from the culture tanks (21) is sent to an analysis device (13).
