Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a cell recovery method that does not require a centrifuge and suppresses damage to cells. The present invention: is for recovering cells that have been cultured in a vessel that contains a liquid culture medium and have stuck to an inside surface of the vessel; and involves a culture medium draining step (step S11) for draining the culture medium from the vessel, a detachment solution supply step (step S12) for supplying a detachment solution to the vessel after the culture medium has been drained, the detachment solution being for detaching the cells from the inside surface of the vessel, a detachment solution draining step (step S14) for draining the detachment solution from the vessel before the cells are completely detached from the inside surface of the vessel, a waiting step (step S15) for waiting, after the detachment solution has been drained, until the cells detach due to the action of residual detachment solution, and a recovery solution supply step (step S16) for supplying a recovery solution to the vessel after the waiting step is complete, the recovery solution being for recovering the cells.
