Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a cell reselection method and apparatus, and a method and apparatus for sending information related to an inactive multicast broadcast service. The cell reselection method comprises: receiving information related to an inactive multicast broadcast service; determining a cell reselection priority according to the information related to an inactive multicast broadcast service; and performing cell reselection according to the cell reselection priority, wherein the step of performing cell reselection according to the cell reselection priority comprises at least one of the following: performing intra-frequency cell reselection according to the cell reselection priority, and performing equal-priority frequency-point cell reselection according to the cell reselection priority. By means of the present disclosure, during cell reselection, a terminal can further take into account, according to requirements, whether a cell supports an inactive multicast broadcast service, such that an intra-frequency cell and/or an equal-priority frequency-point cell which supports the inactive multicast broadcast service can be preferentially reselected.
