Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cell sensor, and to a monitoring method using same for the real-time monitoring of cell capacitance, and more particularly, the present invention relates to a cell sensor and to a monitoring method using same that are capable of monitoring an endocytosis process of a biomolecule through a cell surface receptor by attaching a cell between electrodes and performing a real-time measurement of the capacitance between the electrodes over time. According to an example of the present invention, a cell sensor for the real-time monitoring of cell capacitance comprises: a substrate, and a first electrode and a second electrode formed on the substrate and spaced apart from one another and between which at least one or more cells are attached; and a passivation layer formed on the top of the first electrode and of the second electrode, respectively, for preventing the cell from attaching to the top of the first electrode and of the second electrode. A cell sensor for the real-time monitoring of cell capacitance and a monitoring method using same for the real-time monitoring of a cell condition according to an example of the present invention has the effect of being able to perform an endocytosis process of a biomolecule through a cell surface receptor, by attaching a cell having a receptor of a certain biomolecule between electrodes and performing a real-time measurement of the capacitance between the electrodes over time.
