Title:
CELL-STAINING METHOD AND SPECIMEN COLLECTION TUBE FOR USE IN METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/185151
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a simple cell-staining method which takes less time and is used in a step for staining cells in a liquid specimen, and prevents damage to or loss (spillage) of cells in the collected specimen, when specifically staining a specific substance expressed in cells to be detected in the liquid specimen. The present invention also addresses the problem of providing a specimen collection tube suitable for use with this cell-staining method. The present invention solves these problems by using a method for specifically staining a specific substance present in cells in a specimen, the method involving the execution of the following steps as one step: (A) a step for immobilizing the cells, and (B) a step for soaking the cells.
