Abstract:
This cell transplantation device is designed to place a cell group in an intradermal and/or subcutaneous target region of a living body. The cell transplantation device is provided with: a storage section for storing a liquid containing the cell group; and an ingress section that has an opening section communicating with the storage section and enters from the skin surface of the living body into the target region so that the opening section is positioned in the target region. The cell transplantation device has: a substrate part having a substrate surface; and a protrusion part that protrudes from the substrate surface and functions as the storage section and the ingress section. The protrusion part is a structure that has the opening section and a hole extending from the opening section to the interior of the protrusion part.
