Abstract:
Provided is a cell treatment device that can treat cells that are inside a cell culture vessel. This cell treatment device 100 is characterized by including a first region 1, a second region 3, and a third region 5, the first region 1 and the second region 3 being continuous, the first region 1 being a cell treatment chamber that is for treating cells, that can be closed off from the outside of the cell treatment chamber, and that includes a cell vessel arrangement part that is for arranging the cell culture vessel, the second region 3 including a laser radiation means that can radiate a laser at the cell culture vessel as arranged on the culture vessel arrangement part and a spot-diameter adjustment means that adjusts the diameter of a spot formed by the laser at an irradiated part of an irradiated object, the third region 5 including a control unit that controls at least one means that is inside the cell treatment device 100 and a power supply unit 52 that supplies power to at least one means that is inside the cell treatment device 100, the culture vessel arrangement part being arranged in the cell treatment chamber so as to be adjacent to the second region 3, and the part of the culture vessel arrangement part that is adjacent to the second region 3 being capable of transmitting light.
