Abstract:
The present invention provides a cell in which an electrolyte solution injected through an injection opening can be made to sufficiently impregnate a winding electrode, even in cases in which the injection opening is positioned at a bias towards the positive electrode terminal part or the negative electrode terminal part of the winding electrode. This cell has a winding electrode, a cell case furnished with an injection opening, a positive electrode part, and a negative electrode part. The positive electrode part has a positive electrode terminal junction that has been compacted in a direction orthogonal to the direction of the winding axis. The negative electrode part has a negative electrode terminal junction that has been compacted in a direction orthogonal to the direction of the winding axis. The injection opening is positioned at a bias towards either the positive electrode terminal junction or the negative electrode terminal junction. In the winding electrode, the distance separating the junction that is further away from the injection opening, from the end lying towards the junction in question along the direction of the winding axis, is greater than the distance separating the junction that is closer towards the injection opening, from the end lying towards the junction in question along the direction of the winding axis.
