Abstract:

Cells for an air mattress comprise: middle layer cells (25) having air supply openings (25a); first and second lower layer cells (26, 27) which have a smaller length than the middle layer cells (25), are provided with air supply openings (26b), are mounted on the lower surfaces of the middle layer cells (25) so as to extend in the longitudinal direction of the middle layer cells (25), and communicate with each other; and upper layer cells (28, 29, 30) which are mounted on the upper surfaces of the middle layer cells (25) so as to extend in the longitudinal direction of the middle layer cells (25) and which are formed in pairs. The upper layer cells (28, 29, 30) of each pair extend parallel to each other, communicate with each other, and communicate with the middle layer cells (25). Gaps (G1, G2) are set between a specific pair of upper layer cells (29) and the remaining pairs of upper layer cells (28, 30) adjacent to the specific pair of upper layer cells (29). The sum of the lengths of pairs of upper layer cells (28, 29, 30) is set to be less than the length of a middle layer cell (25).
