Abstract:
Cells that are derived from pluripotent stem cells, capable of differentiating into placenta-constituting cells, and negative for BRDT but positive for TP63. A method for producing the cells capable of differentiating into placenta-constituting cells, said method comprising: (a) a step for culturing mammalian pluripotent stem cells in a medium that contains bone morphogenetic factor 4; and (b) a step for, after step (a), culturing the obtained cells in a medium that contains a growth factor and a ROCK inhibitor.
