Abstract:

Provided is a cellulose acylate film which does not easily cause display unevenness in cases where the cellulose acylate film is incorporated into a liquid crystal display device. A cellulose acylate film which contains a cellulose acylate having a total acyl substitution degree of 2.0-2.35, has a film thickness of 20-39 μm, and contains the following two components. (Component 1) A sugar ester compound which has 1-6 pyranose structures and/or 1-6 furanose structures, and wherein some of the OH groups in the pyranose structures and the furanose structures are esterified and the esterification is carried out by an aromatic organic acid (provided that if A is the ratio of the esterified OH groups in the whole OH groups of the sugar ester compound and B is the ratio of the acylated OH groups in the whole OH groups of the cellulose acylate, A/B satisfies 0.55-0.95).
