Abstract:
In order to provide a cellulose derivative which has excellent thermoplasticity, waterproofness, and strength (elastic modulus and impact strength), the present invention uses a cellulose derivative obtained by introducing, to cellulose, a short-chain organic group (acetyl group), a medium-chain organic group having 3-5 carbon atoms, and a long-chain organic group having 6-30 carbon atoms, at substitution degrees DS within the ranges of: 0.7≤DSSH≤1.5 for the short-chain organic group, 0.5≤DSME≤2.0 for the medium-chain organic group, and 0.1≤DSLO<0.5 for the long-chain organic group, wherein 2.4≤DSSH+DSME+DSLO≤3.
