Abstract:
The present invention relates to cellulose for a foamed product and a method for preparing same and, more specifically, to cellulose for a foamed product and a method for preparing same, the cellulose being carbonized particles which are obtained by carbonizing cellulose or a cellulose-containing substance and have, among the constituent elements thereof, a carbon content of 70-75 wt% and an oxygen content of 15-25 wt%. The cellulose for a foamed product can have oil and foreign matters remaining in the cellulose or the cellulose-containing substance maximally removed through carbonization, and a foamed product manufactured using the cellulose for a foamed product has a uniform pore size and distribution, a high degree of hardness, and high thermal conductivity.
