Abstract:
The present invention relates to [1] a method for producing cellulose particles which includes a step in which a water-in-oil emulsion containing cellulose is mixed with an alcohol having an octanol-water partition coefficient ClogP of 0.5 or higher to precipitate the cellulose and thus obtain cellulose particles and [2] cellulose particles having a degree of sphericity of 0.80 or higher and a pore volume of 0.3 mL/g or less.
