Abstract:
A cement composite obtained by coating a cured cement with an agent blocking a specific substance. The cured cement is highly shielded from a substance causative of corrosion or cracking, is inhibited from being neutralized, and is less apt to blush. Also provided is a method of forming the composite. The cement composite is one obtained by coating a cured cement with a substance-blocking agent comprising as major ingredients an aqueous synthetic-resin dispersion, a swelling clay mineral, and a pigment. The swelling clay mineral preferably is a swelling clay mineral containing fluorine. The substance-blocking agent preferably is one containing a water-soluble resin, and is applied preferably in an amount of 50-500 g/m2. The method of cement composite formation is characterized by applying the substance-blocking agent to a surface of a cured cement.
