Abstract:
Provided is a cemented carbide composite material of a non-cemented carbide and a cemented carbide, which has a high-temperature strength that is higher than ever before, and which is able to suppress the occurrence of cracking or separation. This cemented carbide composite material has: a cemented carbide part that is composed of a WC-Co-based cemented carbide; and a substrate part that is composed of a metal which contains Ni or Co in a total amount of 50% by mass or more. This cemented carbide composite material has an intermediate layer, which contains the constituents of the cemented carbide part and the constituents of the substrate part, between the cemented carbide part and the substrate part. This intermediate layer contains a portion that has a gamma phase fraction of 80% or more and a Vickers hardness of less than 700 HV.
