Abstract:
Provided is a center bearing with which vibration can be reliably prevented even if a large vibration is applied to a propeller shaft, and with which durability can be improved. A center bearing 15 comprises: a rubber elastic body 20 having a shaft hole 23 that supports a propeller shaft 10, and a bracket 21 that retains the rubber elastic body 20 on a chassis. The rubber elastic body 20 is formed in a rectangular shape; a recessed groove 24 is formed in the center of a side of the rectangular-shaped rubber elastic body 20; and the bracket 21 is formed in a rectangular shape so as to cover the rectangular-shaped rubber elastic body 20.
