Abstract:
Provided is a center bearing in which resistance to separation of a rubber-like elastic body from a bracket can be increased while the durability of the rubber-like elastic body against the axial displacement thereof is ensured. A center bearing 2 is provided with: a plate-shaped rubber-like elastic body 12; a bearing holding section 13 provided at the center of the rubber-like elastic body 12; a bracket 14 formed in a frame-like shape surrounding the bearing holding section 13; ribs 15 formed at outer edges of the front surface and rear surface of the rubber-like elastic body 12; a framework 16 embedded between front and rear ribs 15; a pair of claws 17 provided to the bracket 14 and used to grip the ribs 15, in which the framework 16 is embedded, from the outside in a front-rear direction; and a thin-walled section 18 which is formed on the rubber-like elastic body 12 facing the ribs 15, and the dimensions of which in the front-rear direction is less than those of the portions of the rubber-like elastic body 12, at which the ribs 15 are formed.
