Abstract:
Disclosed is a centerless grinding machine that can simplify the setting and adjustment of an adjustable wheel made in accordance with the external diameter of a grinding wheel (1), the external diameter of the adjustable wheel (2), and the external diameter of a workpiece (5), and which can stabilize machining precision. A table (11) is positioned via a horizontal sliding mechanism (A) on top of a bed (10), a rotating table (13) is positioned via a γ rotating sliding mechanism (B) on said table (11), an upper slide (12) is positioned via a lateral sliding mechanism (C) on said rotating table (13), and the adjustable wheel (2) is positioned on said upper slide (12). The horizontal sliding mechanism (A) moves the adjustable wheel (2) to match the outer diameter of the workpiece (5) by moving the table (11) relative to the head (10) in the horizontal direction when grinding the workpiece (5). The γ rotating sliding mechanism (B) rotatably moves the rotating table (13) around the axis center (w) of the workpiece (5). The lateral sliding mechanism (C) has a function that moves the upper slide (12) relative to the rotating table (13). The centerless grinding machine always has a constant center height angle (γ) and the center height angle (γ) relative to the adjustable wheel (2) of the workpiece (5) can be adjusted because the functions of the γ rotating sliding mechanism (B) enable the rotating table (13) to be rotatably moved.
