Abstract:
The present invention relates to a central polarity-reversal protection circuit for an on-board power system of a vehicle. For this purpose, a diode (107) is arranged between an assisted starting connection point (108) and the on-board power system (102) of the vehicle (100) in such a way that in the case of polarity reversal a flow of current through the diode (107) is prevented. The diode (107) is integrated into an assisted starting pin (210) and one part of said assisted stating pin (210) is embodied as the assisted starting connection point (108).
