Abstract:
A centralized storage method saving memory chips, and a multifunctional module system. The method comprises the steps of: S1, store applications and logic codes of multiple functional modules in a main control module in a centralized manner, wherein each functional module stores a BOOT program; S2, first run the main control module when running a system, and then each functional module provides basic information of itself and obtains the corresponding applications and logic codes from the main control module; and S3, first update the corresponding applications and logic codes in the main control module when it is required to maintain or upgrade the applications and logic codes of a certain functional module, and then send a power-down or reboot command to the functional module. The method uses an approach of storing program logic in a centralized manner, so that other functional modules in a system only need a memory chip with small capacity for storing the BOOT program of a CPU, thereby greatly reducing the costs of memory chips and improving the system integration level. Moreover, this method is widely applicable to various multifunctional module systems.
