Abstract:
Provided is a centrifugal clutch that is capable of increasing a clutch capacity with a simple configuration. A centrifugal clutch (200) is provided with a drive plate (210) that is directly driven to rotate by an engine driving force. The drive plate (210) is provided with: oscillation support pins (214); and projections (218). Each of the oscillation support pins (214) supports a clutch weight (230) so as to oscillate by being fitted into a pin sliding hole (231) formed in the clutch weight (230). Each of the projections (218) comprises a cylindrical roller, and is in contact with the driven part (235) of the clutch weight (230). The pin sliding hole (231) is formed into an oblong shape that allows displacement of the clutch weight (230) rearward in the rotation driving direction of the drive plate (210). The driven part (235) is formed so as to incline and extend rearward and outward in the rotation driving direction of the drive plate (210).
