Abstract:
The present invention relates to a centrifugal clutch (100) provided with a drive plate (110) directly rotated and driven by the drive force of an engine, the drive plate (110) being provided with a rocking support pin (113) having a clutch shoe (123) and supporting the clutch shoe (123) so that the clutch shoe (123) will rock relative to a clutch outer member (130), the drive plate (110) being also provided with a spring support body (115) for supporting a torsion spring (116), the spring support body (115) being provided raised from a base (111) adjacent to a far end (121a) which is one of the opposite circumferential ends of a drive weight (120) facing the circular cylindrical surface (131) of the clutch outer member (130), the opposite ends (116b, 116c) of the torsion spring (116) being engaged, respectively, with the far end (121a) of one of two clutch weights (120) and with the near end (121b) of the other clutch weight (120).
