Abstract:
Provided is a centrifugal clutch in which tilting of a clutch weight is more effectively inhibited so that generation of uneven abrasion of the clutch weight and a clutch shoe is prevented, and the clutch weight can be smoothly oscillated. A centrifugal clutch 200 is provided with a clutch weight 230 and a plate-side cam body 218 on a drive plate 210 that is rotatingly driven by a drive force from an engine. In the clutch weight 230, a weight-side cam body 238 that is turned and displaced to the clutch outer 240 side and that runs on to a plate-side cam body 218 is formed. In the clutch weight 230, the center portion CCP in the cam contact range CE of the plate-side cam body 218 and the weight-side cam body 238, the operating positions FP1, FP2 of forces F1, F2 of a coupling spring 235, and the center portion SCP, in the thickness direction, of a clutch shoe 236, each coincide with the gravity position WCP of the clutch weight 230.
