The purpose of the present invention is to achieve a gas pipeline centrifugal compressor which can expand the operation range on the low flow side and can maintain the operation range on the high flow side. In this centrifugal compressor (200) used in a gas pipeline (1), a centrifugal impeller is provided with a hub and multiple blades, and the blade angle distribution of these blades is configured such that: the hub-side blade angle is largest nearer to the hub-side leading edge than to the center point of the hub-side camber line, and in the interval from this portion to the hub-side leading edge, the hub-side blade angle distribution curve is convex in the direction in which the blade angle increases; the antihub-side blade angle is minimal at the antihub-side leading edge of the antihub-side camber line, or nearer to the antihub-side leading edge than to the center point, and in an arbitrary interval that includes the portion in which the blade angle on the antihub-side blade angle distribution curve is minimal, the antihub-side blade angle distribution curve is convex in the direction in which blade angle is smaller; and, in an interval from downstream of said interval where the curve is convex to the antihub-side trailing edge, the antihub-side blade angle distribution curve is convex in the direction in which the blade angle is larger.
